BRIAN ALLEN
CEO/Principal Lobbyist
Brian is the owner and principal lobbyist of Capitol Hill Advisors. As a former member of the Utah House of Representatives, Brian has an in-depth understanding of the legislature and its processes. He understands the pressures faced by lawmakers and the sometimes difficult duty they have to balance the various interests. That experience helps him frame messaging and solutions in a way that allows legislators to understand how a client position fits into that balance and harmonizes with constituent needs or concerns. Brian has also managed large lobbying clients and has successfully coordinated national government affairs programs for clients at both legislative and regulatory levels. His service as the Chair of the State Charter School Board also gives him a unique insight into the regulatory process and environment in Utah. He has been a trusted advisor to legislators and regulators around the country. Brian has authored articles for national trade journals and has been a featured presenter at conferences around the country speaking on how the political environment impacts client industries and business practices. Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governors University.

CHANTEL NATE
Chantel specializes in communication and in outreach for both clients and at the grass roots level. She will be starting her fifteenth Legislative Session this year. Over her more than fourteen years on the hill, Chantel has been able to develop numerous relationships with key legislators, including many of those in leadership. In developing these relationships, Chantel has worked closely with a number of legislators in designing and preparing campaign mailers and event invitations and in developing political strategy. Chantel has also managed the campaigns of two candidates. Through this work, she has developed substantial goodwill with current legislators allowing her to work with legislators on complex issues. She has worked on many municipal, property and casualty and health insurance issues. Chantel has experience in photography and graphic design and has designed newsletters for legislators and specializes in constituent outreach. She also manages bill tracking as well as our client outreach. Chantel has a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Utah.
